Unique Features: HEROES RUCK Division: The marathon includes a HEROES RUCK division with Light (20lb) and Heavy (40lb) ruck categories available in all event distances. Ruck Awards are given in 5-year age increments in both light and heavy categories, and there is an Overall Ruck Winner in both categories. Personal Attention: The event is small enough to provide personal attention to each runner, walker, sponsor, and volunteer. Pre and Post-Race Events: The event includes a free Pasta Party at packet pickup in Salem and a legendary post-race party.
