2025 NYC Half Course Change: New Route Crosses Brooklyn Bridge

Breaking news: The 2025 United Airlines NYC Half is just a month away, taking place on Sunday, March 16, 2025. In an exciting update, the race course has been revised due to ongoing construction on South Street in Manhattan.

Instead of the Manhattan Bridge, runners will now cross the iconic Brooklyn Bridge during the NYC Half for the foreseeable future. This is an NYRR first; no NYRR race has ever run across the Brooklyn Bridge!

With the new route, once runners reach the junction of Flatbush Avenue and Tillary Street, they will turn left onto Tillary, then right onto Brooklyn Bridge Boulevard to cross the Brooklyn Bridge. After crossing, runners will take the exit ramp onto FDR Drive and continue their journey to the finish in Central Park.
